Then can buy the big stuff before you go to Michigan. You really don’t need any other fishing rod until like level 28 and that’s Florida for largemouth bass with the frog. The featherlight you have is good as well but can’t cast as far but you can just keep that and not buy the 7 footer and save for the big Jigwinner.

The best rod unlocks I believe at level 18 the Jigwinner 8’10” that rod casts a real long way. Definitely get the narrow spoons they are deadly with this setup. At night try glowing medium spoons, cranks, topwater lures and the big glowing crawdad on a 4/0 jighead.Looks like you are at level 9 when you get to 11 there is a real good rod the feather light 7 foot. At night drum hit lures aggressively, plus they move over to snook territory. They will strike at a lot of different bait depths but 45cm is a good starting point. Drum will hit lures during the day but it's much faster to catch them on shiners or shrimp. Cast to the edges of the reeds, roughly 26-30m depending on which reeds you're casting to. Look out to about the 2 o'clock position and you see three areas where reeds grow out of the water. The other spots give up good trophies but never a uni so far. Best times are early and late in the day.īest spots for drum are from the right side of the dock. That is where all my unis have come from. Snook will bite anywhere from about 43m on in. The uni spot for snook is different- looking straight out from the middle of the dock there's a snag with some weeds about 40m out, just a bit left of straight out. On the right side of the dock- same thing- cast out to the snags. Retrieve single spoons, casting spoon, 1, 2 or 2.5m cranks, 4/0 jig, medium spoon, topwater. There are a couple snags out there about 30m or so- cast a little past them, to roughly 35m. On the far left cast straight left out (from the direction you face when you spawn). For snook go to Salty Delta and walk to the far left or far right sides of the dock.
